Server Rules
Welcome to Vaultcraft! To ensure a fun and fair environment for everyone, we have a few essential rules that all players must follow. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with them:
Modifications
Vaultcraft allows the use of any client-side modifications (mods) to enhance your gameplay experience. We believe in giving players the freedom to customize their Minecraft experience as they see fit.
However, it's important to remember that all players are expected to use mods responsibly and with consideration for others. While you have the freedom to modify your own game, you are still responsible for your actions and how they impact other players.
Rule 1: No Malicious Activity or Illegal Actions
What it means: Do not engage in any activity that attempts to compromise the server's integrity, disrupt its operation, negatively impact other players' experience, or violate any real-world laws. This includes:
Attempting to gain unauthorized access to server files or systems.
Using exploits or vulnerabilities to crash the server or cause lag.
Distributing malware or harmful files to other players.
Employing any methods to steal player data or compromise their accounts.
Using mods or external tools to harass, intimidate, or unfairly target other players.
Sharing or promoting illegal content or activities.
Engaging in any behavior that could be considered harmful or illegal in the real world.
Why it matters: Maintaining a secure, stable, and lawful server environment is crucial for everyone's enjoyment and safety. Malicious activity disrupts gameplay, undermines trust, and can potentially harm players.
Consequences: Players found engaging in malicious activity or illegal actions will face severe penalties, including permanent bans and potential legal action, depending on the severity of the offense.
Rule 2: No Griefing
What it means: Do not intentionally destroy or damage other players' builds, creations, or property. This includes destroying structures, placing lava or other destructive blocks, using explosives, or interfering with farms or other automated systems.
Why it matters: Griefing is disrespectful and can ruin hours of hard work and creativity. It creates a negative and hostile environment for everyone.
Consequences: Players caught griefing will be permanently banned from the server.
Rule 3: No Stealing
What it means: Do not take items or resources that belong to other players without their explicit permission. This includes taking items from chests, farms, or other storage areas, stealing resources from others' claimed land, killing players and taking their belongings, or scamming other players.
Why it matters: Stealing is a violation of trust and can create a sense of insecurity and frustration among players.
Consequences: Players caught stealing will be subject to penalties, including warnings, temporary bans, or permanent removal from the server, depending on the severity of the offense.
Additional Notes:
All players are expected to abide by the Minecraft End User License Agreement (EULA).
Our Discord server is an extension of the Vaultcraft community. All players are expected to follow Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
